Amplid C7 Skis 2009

Amplid C7 2009

Stiffer, more focused and built for speed - well in freestyle! Which for someone of my years, I was born in the '70's (the horror, the horror) strikes the fear of someones God into me. So when Amplid say their pro-riders are looking at hitting kickers at 50 mph I will leave it to them to do the ski testing.

Again Amplid provide a very specific ski for the "new school" generation, or is it "post-new-school" these days? Anyhow I do get the feeling that even traditional skiers could get away skiing with the C7 as it combines a reasonable sidecut, 121-80-108 and a stiffer flex which is ideal for allmountain cruising, even if your limit is a 3' off a bump smaller than a "Page 3 models breast."

More versatility, more power and a better all-mountain freestyle ski for the expert skier.

The manufacturer says this about the Amplid C7 2009:

„The C7” - TITANIUM ALLOY GOES FREESTYLE

Hauling switch at 50mph. Cutting a perfect arc over a freshly groomed knoll.
Building momentum to spin a 5, then embarking on a centrifugal journey.
Twin-tip park geometry, blended with titanium-alloy and biax-glass.
Then crank up the radius beyond what you'd expect (14,94m @ 175). The C7 sets
a standard which truly didn't exist until now!
Anian Thrainer’s rider’s quote:
I dig speed. but when the park is closed, fresh corduroy at full speed can get
boring. Except when you ride switch all day...
