K2 Apache Coomba Skis 2008

K2 Apache Coomba Skis 2008

Designed by Doug Coombs and K2 just prior to his unfortunate demise in the mecca of extreme freeride skiing- La Grave. The Coomba is an epic ski built for skiers with the vision and technique to cut new lines on the most awe inspiring terrain, plus challenge the speed and trajectory of established but nonetheless hairy territory.
Designed not to be too difficult to ski and accessible for the advanced skier looking to hit the real deep stuff for the first time right up to pro level skiers and guides looking for a ski for heli trips, guiding or just general powder skiing.

The manufacturer says this about the K2 Apache Coomba Skis 2008:

Coomba
Co-created by Doug Coombs and K2, the Coomba is the next generation powder ski built for adventure. Named in Doug’s honor, the Coomba is designed for anyone from serious alpinists to aspiring backcountry/heli skiers. The balanced flex pattern and 102mm waist width offers excellent floatation and easy handling in tough conditions.
