K2 Apache Crossfire Ski 2008

K2 Apache Crossfire Ski 2008

2007-8 welcomes a new more focused version of the Crossfire, K2's all-mountain aggressive carver. Now with very much a groomed run instinct and construction the Corssfire skis better, fast, quicker and more stable than in the past, there is a touch more urgency in the ski and it arcs well on firm pistes. Even though they are designed for groomed run performance they are sill 70 mm underfoot so relatively wide in comparison to many race skis or those a couple of years ago- so you will find that they are quite easy to control if the conditions deteriorate or you have fresh snow falls.
An excellent ski for the advanced to expert looking to attack the reds and blacks with some speed and technical flair- more fun than the Recon but perhaps a touch more of a handful if conditions get tricky!

The manufacturer says this about the K2 Apache Crossfire Ski 2008:

Apache Crossfire
This new evolution of the Crossfire is versatile, high performing and built to arc turn after turn on groomers. The 70mm waist width adds versatility, and incorporates ABS sidewall construction for excellent edge grip and responsiveness on firm terrain. The metal laminate and M1 binding system delivers the most accurate power and precision.
