The Rossignol Bandit B78 is the grandaddy of the modern allmountain ski. Not that this newest edition hasn't has a make over, to the contrary there has been a good deal of surgery and not just cosmetic to keep the B78 up there amongst the best all-mountain skis available. A wood-core, Shark Nose, Dualtec and the new Free beam construction the new B78 is smoother, grippier than ever and just as versatile. For the holiday skier heading out to the hills a couple of times a year this would be a great pair of skis. You can ride them all day long whether on the hardpack, in the bumps or the odd foray into powder. The B78 is a great pair of skis for the advanced skier, aspiring intermediate or lethargic expert- easy to use, versatile and can handle almost any situation. The only downside is a lack of life in short turns and if you are wanting to ski fast or hit the powder then you would be best advised to go for the B83 or an equivalent.
4.5/ 5
Absolute all-rounders....
Just as much at home on powder as hardpack. Ideal for getting off-trail from time-to-time.
