Volkl Aura 2008

Volkl Aura 2008

Designed by the girls at Volkl for advanced to expert skiers hitting the back-country the Aura is a light but strong Freeride ski with a pretty large 94 mm underfoot.
An excellent choice for the dedicated freerider, the Aura is best fitted with the new Marker Duke binding for great touring ability plus security at speed with a binding that goes to a very racy 16 on the release scale- probably best not to set it 16 mind!
The Aura is especially good for women who are less tall or heavy as they go down to a 158 cm length plus the largest ski is a 177 so there should be something within that bracket for most.

The manufacturer says this about the Volkl Aura 2008:

The perfect ski for freeride girls. The twin-tip model was specially designed for the high requirements of women.. An essential feature is its light weight. The Aura's light construction means it can be used on any terrain without much effort. Shorter lengths are also suited to women, so the Aura is available from 158 cm.
