Fischer Cold Heat RF SP Skis 2008/09

Fischer Cold Heat RF SP Skis 2008/09

Top of the all-mountain performance range from Fischer

A beefy 82 mm waist is pretty much the industry standard for an expert allmountain performance ski. The 17 m radius is also great for laying out longer carves and long powder turns. If you are a regular skier in the Alps and would like a pair of skis for some off-piste fun yet can still give you good control on piste then the Cold Heat is perhaps the best in the Fischer range.

Stronger skier will appreciate the Flowflex, especially when piste conditions are firm for extra grip and comfort or even when you're feeling livelier in spring onditions off-piste and want to attack the hill a little more. For less physically strong skiers the Flowflex can feel cumbersome but it does have its appeal to the expert and I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the Cold Heat's.

skireviews.co.uk rating: 90/100

A great all-terrain bruiser for the expert skier.

The manufacturer says this about the Fischer Cold Heat RF SP Skis 2008/09:

For all-mountain adventures. World Cup construction with new sidecut. The 82 mm ski waist and 17 m radius make this ski multitalented. Also featuring Flowflex.
