Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Stunning performance, smoothness, control, power and stability. In the 193 length this is a serious pair of World Cup skis and not for anyone who isn't racing on a full-time basis. The shorter lengths are very different skis, the 188's are still extremely powerful and super-solid underfoot, and what is most pleasing is the way both these "men's" models power through the arc of a turn yet instil a feeling of control and maintenance of line. For ski instructors I'd opt for the 183 as they are manageable, tolerant and remain quick whilst many girls are best on the 180 instead of the 183 unless you are a sub-80 point FIS racer.
Never having had the chance to test the Fischer "hole" skis with their lighter inertia I can only imagine that they are fractionally better than this model as the RC4 WC's are truly superb. Check out the "Loch" or "hole" ski review.
If you are a racer you know the pedigree the Worldcup GS comes from. FIS legal in all lengths matched with Worldcup race plate which will accommodate any binding. Ski the Worldcup GS and you will feel the heart and soul of Fischer.
