Movement Spark Skis 2009

Movement Spark Skis 2009

Freshened-up for 2009 the Spark fills the gap for a very advanced to expert ski within the Movement range. With its 50/50 split of piste/freeride and 82 mm waist the Spark is wide enough to cruise through powder, carve on-piste plus they are narrow enough to hammer through the bumps.

As normal with Movement the core is made of wood, the stability is fantastic and thankfully Movement skis are now as refined as any in the industry. An excellent choice for the advanced skier looking for something a touch different, some real power in a ski and true versatility - a very strong contender for all-mountain ski of the year.

skireviews.co.uk rating: 95/100

Love the grip, construction, the graphics and really there ain't much to say other than this is one of the best all-rounders.

The manufacturer says this about the Movement Spark Skis 2009:

Our superlative all-rounder has been revised and improved by increasing its tip and tail by more than one centimetre. This gives the Spark more lift in deep snow and leads to an easier release in turns in difficult snow conditions. This great ski is consistently one of the favourites in our line. The ski has developed over a long time with input from many sources. We consider it a "mid fat" profile that is the type of ski that is changing the sport. It has a medium flex which makes it a forgiving ski that flatters the skier in all snow conditions and terrain. It is the definition of an advanced to expert all-round ski.

Noble Custom are the UK distributors of Movement skis and I'm sure they could put you in touch with UK retailers or ship out a pair to Australia if required. Hope this helps.
