Fischer Fuse 70 Skis 2008/09

Fischer Fuse 70 Skis 2008/09

Easy-going all-mountain carvers perfectly suited to the cruising intermediate skier. If you enjoy the vista, lunch and some well-prepared groomed runs before your vin chaud at eleven then this is the sort of ski for you.

Nice clean graphics, a fresh look and a stable 70 mm platform, the Fuse 70 is a generous ski and very forgiving; you can skid them, carve them or just glide along on them. If you wanted a more aggressive or sporty ski then there are plenty in the Fischer range such as the Progressors, but the Fuse 70 sits well in the intermediate to cautious-advanced category.

skireviews.co.uk rating: 89/100

Nothing ground breaking but a lovely all-mountain carver with fresh appeal.

The manufacturer says this about the Fischer Fuse 70 Skis 2008/09:

Slick graphics and all-mountain appeal in a new 70 mm ski that is
for skiers looking for adventure, off-piste as well. Leaving tracks behind, on all kinds of terrain. With skis that are at home wherever you take them. Outstanding stability with extremely low weight. High-tech material as used in aerospace engineering to stand up to tough conditions: Air Carbon. Ideal turning and control in all snow and piste conditions. A superior construction that replaces the conventional wood core: the Air Carbon Chassis. A ski you can always rely on.
