Blizzard G-Force G-1 IQ Skis 2008/09

Blizzard G-Force G-1 IQ Skis 2008/09

G-Force is a fresh and very smart new range of skis from Austrian ski manufacturer Blizzard. There are seven skis within the range, all aimed at groom-run skiers, starting with the G-1 for intermediate right up to the range topping Supersonic IQ built with experts in mind.

The G-1 s aimed at the intermediate, first time buyer market, but the finish of the ski is very sleek for an "entry model." Aesthetically they are spot on, there is a broad range of sizes from 146 cm to 174 cm and the 70 mm waist provides a sturdy platform from which to progress. The G-1 profile is that of a carving ski, but it is relatively non-aggressive and sports a 15 m radius, great for cruising medium turns.

Definitely worth seeking out for a test run, I'll have to wait until this coming season for a test run though, so will keep you posted as I find out more.

Citizen Ski rating: n/a

The manufacturer says this about the Blizzard G-Force G-1 IQ Skis 2008/09:

The g-Force entry model G1 IQ focuses on perfect power distribution, easy handling, light weight and forgiveness through the IQ system and the Powerframe technology.
