Dynastar Contact 10 Skis 2008/09

Dynastar Contact 10 Skis 2008/09

Raving about the Contact Groove leads me on to the Contact 10. A slightly more versatile and all-mountain ski with its 72 mm underfoot. If you are after an adept carver but would like some versatility, as you would with an SUV then perhaps the '10 is a fraction more robust in variable conditions.

The Groove is fantastic on groomed slopes, the '10 is not far behind but lacks the agility and bite of the former, whereas if you are going to venture off the side of the piste, nip down a small gully or are looking for a more playful ski then try the 10's out.

Citizen Ski rating: 88/100

Very good all-mountain skis for the advanced to expert skier. Very forgiving flex and generous side-cut mean you can carve and handle most situations in cruise control.

The manufacturer says this about the Dynastar Contact 10 Skis 2008/09:

The idea behind this piste performance range
is a simple one: combine the best of design with excellent skiability
to rediscover the pleasure of making the perfect curve on the slopes!
This year, the range is enhanced with two new additions: the Contact
4x4, an authentic all-terrain ski and the Contact Groove! The two
models are equipped with the latest technological innovation,
Autodrive Fluid Ultimate.
CONTACT TECHNOLOGI ES
1 The Fluid rail enhances grip qualities at the waist without compromising

2 The arm that extends the Autodrive Fluid system in connection
with the sidewall in front allows rapid, easy, incisive turn entry, with tip
control that is more precise than ever.

All-terrain fluidity and stability: Autodrive Fluid
Expert Ti technology
Precision and good edge grip on hardpack:
Oversized sidewalls
All-terrain high performance: Extra wide tip for
