Head World Cup iGS RD RacePlate 2008

Head, WC, iGS, RD, RacePlate, 2008

Ooohh yeaahhh! This is a pair of skis. A "smaller" sibling than the full-on mens World Cup ski. The 188cm that I tried was a phenomenal ski and very quick. The ski isn't overly shaped, although with FIS this is no longer really possible, but the ski turns in very quickly and the acceleration is simply fantastic. The shaping and flex of the RD is at the pinnacle of recent race designs and they really urge you to push on with a blend of smoothness, power and finesse.
The RD's have great touch on the snow and instill lots of confidence that allows you to concentrate more on your line and not too much what is happening with your equipment.
Fantastic and highly recommended for experts and racers upto and including an 80 point or so FIS level.

The manufacturer says this about the Head, WC, iGS, RD, RacePlate, 2008:

The Michael Schumacher of skis. original, no compromise race gun, developed together with Bode Miller and the Head Racing Team. The new, super direct race plateand a new top sheet make this ski faster and more agile than ever before,, incredibly grippy and stable at high-speeds (meets new 2007 FIS regulations).
