Last year my mind (or feet) were certainly not convinced by the 'Magnum's. They are a very fine pair of skis and many advanced skiers will love them - I just found them not as grippy on the hard-pack, and there was some artificial around that would test any pair of skis. But then again on softer snow and in more variable conditions than the billiard-table smooth and glassy piste of 2007, the Magnum excelled and is a most pleasant and bounding ski for the majority of groomed run skiing.
The larger sidecut certainly turn-in with great ease and you do get instant bite, especially in softer snow, also the added girth underfoot helps when conditions are softer so the Magnum becomes the most versatile in the Superspeed line up.

Highly recommended for good advanced carvers and expert skiers who want versatility out of their carvers.

A fast but manageable radius for high speeds, a medium waist for versatility in soft snow and competition-orientated sandwich construction put this ski straight in the "super car" category.
