The Unlimited 3 is the first real stepping stone into all-terrain skis in the Volkl range - there is the lesser AC but the 3's have the best blend of dynamic shape, wood core and 3Motion track for a smoother feel underfoot.
A great intermediate all-rounder and an excellent first pair of skis for the adventurous skier who does not have all the tools in their box for serious off-piste, back-country excursions yet. Forgiving, well-dampened and a nice "turn-in" give you lots of confidence at low and medium speeds - great fro the progressing intermediate to advanced skier.
A good buy and one that will last red run skier many a moon.
