New for 08/09 the Snoweagles are freeride- touring skis with a hefty sidecut for grea carves in the powder. With a fibreglass torsion-box the ski Snoweagle gives good torsional stability on firm snow but it is never going to give you the sort of piste-performance that a true "piste-carver" will.
So a great pair of skis for the day ski tourer. Not for racing up hills but for enjoying the back-country, light and agile enough for the hike up with lots of sidecut, a decent 82 mm waist underfoot and guaranteed fun heading down, and thats what skiing is generally about, the thrill of swooping down rather than the slog of skinning up.
