Head Monster iM 82 SW Skis 2008/09

Head Monster iM 82 SW Skis 2008/09

With broad appeal the Monster 82's are the bread and butter or perhaps the creme de la creme of Head's extensive Monster line-up.
With a truly versatile 82 mm underfoot, sandwich construction, medium to large turn radius these skis are happy cruising the groomed runs and laying down a decent carve or giving you a silken (if not necessarily "big mountain" ride) in the powder.
They haven't changed much from last year but the graphic is again more vibrant and looks very well, the cut-aways and machined tip and tail look great and give a "quality feel" to the product.
On edge they are strong but not overpowering, the flex is well balanced and they feel fresh - not bad for a range of skis that have been around a few years now.

Skireviews rating: 95/100

One of the best and a true benchmark ski for the all-terrain advanced and expert skier - excellent and recommended.

The manufacturer says this about the Head Monster iM 82 SW Skis 2008/09:

Wide all-mountain skis, slightly twin-tipped for those about to rock it switch (? C.H. - what the hell for, but it does make the end of the turn easier to finish). Handles great on-slope. Rejoices out of bounds.

Rode these on Ruapehu Slush (Turoa). Handled it fantastically well
