Racier and better suited to groomed runs than the 12 ft's the 10's are best on harder packed snow. Their narrower profile makes for quicker edge-to-edge reactions which are great when you're feeling frisky and want a livelier ride. As an all-mountain ski I'd go for the 12's but the 10 ft's are smooth operators and if you're looking for sporty, prestige skis then they will fit the executive bill - also available with the "Power Switch" which is more expensive but does transform the ski especially for experts or good advanced skiers with a decent level of fitness.
