Now almost legendary in their status as versatile all-mountain freeride skis the Mantra's are deservedly the most popular ski in Volkl's V-ski line-up. I really love the Mantra's they appeal to so many skiers with their high quality of build, excellent stability, cool graphics, great skiability (the flex is progressive, strong but rarely overpowering) and the dimensions give you true freeride feel without being off the scale or unuseable on a day to day basis.
If i was looking for one pair of freeride skis that I could take away time and again on holiday, would be tolerable on harder snows, provide enough float when it gets steep 'n deep then the Mantra would be at the top or very near the top of that list - they are perhaps THE benchmark freeride ski. Superb, one of the best.
