Head Monster iM 88 SW Skis 2008/09

Head Monster iM 88 SW Skis 2008/09

Expert skiers will love the beefy Monster 88's for back-country fun and those European conditions when you never quite know what snow you're going to encounter. The strong and predictable sandwich construction is great and batters through crud, is smooth both on and off-piste but they are obviously not as agile as this is a ski that most will want for high-speed ripping. Nevertheless you can still make short turns on groomed runs - skidded - and more traditional short turns in the powder, or you can let the '88's go and tear it up in the powder.

Rock-solid stability for the majority of non-pro skiers or straight-line hooligans, a GS-like sidecut for nice turn variability and a well-built purposeful all-mountain ski.

Skireviews rating: 89/100

An excellent all-mountain freeride ski for the expert skier or "Pro" level skier looking for a tamer ride.

The manufacturer says this about the Head Monster iM 88 SW Skis 2008/09:

One of our team's favourite skis when there's good pow, but not just pow. Check out the new bling tip and tail-protector!
